What is CAEDA
Membership/Forward Casper?
Forward Casper is a membership consisting of businesses, individuals, non-profits
and other groups who wish to invest in their community and improve the economic
quality of life in Natrona County. Forward Casper was created in 2001 enabling
CAEDA to capitalize on opportunities as they arise in transportation,
infrastructure, and workforce development. These funds can also serve as private
incentive dollars to engage business. A wide variety of businesses in the
area have already been helped by CAEDA-Forward Casper efforts and more opportunities
are on the horizon.
Why partner with CAEDA?
Economic Development is a set of programs, policies, and activities
that seek to create jobs, increase wealth, improve the business
climate, quality of life, and influence the growth of an economy. Economic
Development leads to positive changes in our community. It
can increase the tax revenue base without raising taxes, lead
to more and better paying jobs, increase business retention,
promote economic diversification, and can also be a productive
way to use vacant or underutilized property. Economic
Development is important because it results in a higher standard
of living for all citizens.
