CLIMATE

Nestled at the base of 9,000-foot Casper Mountain, Casper averages 275 days of sunshine per year with just 11.2 inches of precipitation.  Characterized as the “comfort zone” by the National Weather Service, Casper temperatures in July average 87° and 32° in January.  Additionally, the low year round humidity keeps summers from being oppressive and the dry winter temperatures never seem as cold as in more humid states.
